I don’t normally give reviews on shows but I feel for this show I need to. As a survivor of DV the show started off great but by the end it was highly fictional and romanticized. Surviving DV doesn’t magically resolve you don’t get custody after your alcoholic abusive ex has an epiphany he needs to give you custody, you don’t get rich friends with lawyers who will foot the bill most importantly there are hours upon hours of therapy and copping strategies needed to overcome the PTSD. This show had the potential to truly showcase what it is like being a victim of DV and failed to do so
