It's not quite the original Beverly Hills Cop, but, it's a good story, great cast, and a very well thought out homage to the original. A bit of everything we love about the trio of lead characters and ridiculous high jinx and chaos that surrounds them. A very enjoyable watch from a huge fan of the original. Murphy's trademark laugh was however, distinctly absent? Another point of note; those in key roles from the original movie that have since past, were remembered in imagary during the movie, in particular Gil Hill who played the angry, Inspector Todd, a nice touch I thought.
