The palace of illusion written by chitra banerjee divakaruni is about mahabharat but the story written by perspective of panchali (draupadi). In my opinion it's one of my favorite book and i really enjoyed it. The final of the novel give me goosebumps. The male character in the mahabharat is real life heroes but the author show the sacrifice, heartbreak, struggle and triumps, achievements of unique female way in which she see her world her place in it. It could be better suited for panchali. It's her life, her voice, her questions. Also I think everyone want to must read this as well as boys and girls.
