Don't let the 3.7 rating fool you. If you take a look below the big 3.7 rating, you can see that most people voted 5 stars. And this movie deserves each and every 5 star rating it recieved.
I'm not the type of person to repeat shows or movies. I like to see it once and go on to the next show. However, SMILE (2022), got a second watch from me because it was on netflix and after watching it once alone, I recommended it to my parents and I joined them the next day to watch the same movie. Fun fact: they loved it too
There are a few jumpscares in the movie and without spoiling anything, as an avid horror flick watcher, there are multiple scenes that aren't predictable. For example, I'd think that something will happen, but turns out, it doesn't and another totally different thing happens.
SMILE 2 (2024) would be coming out in 17 October (18 Oct in some territories) and there is no doubt that I will buy tickets to catch it with my fam once it's out.
