I’m typically a fan of Angel Studios productions but this one didn’t do it for me. Too much focus on the evil vs hope. Not enough time to invest in the characters of the movie - maybe had they taken us through the characters life more and all that they had gone through vs so much of the non reality. I found myself often thinking this movie is weird. I purchased 8 tickets for a group from church to go and we were all left feeling like the movie was not what we have grown to expect from Angel. Very weighty - again, so much focus on the evil vs the hope that can be received and found through Christ. Not one I would recommend to others unfortunately.
