Not Original... Logesh add some subplots & Extra characters to the orginal 1976 movie. Thats all..Movie is Clearly Inspired or Copied or whatever other reason The Director claims~ It's clearly taken from John Carpenter's The Classic Assault on precinct 13 (1976)...I don't know why Logesh is lauded This much higher as a director after Kaithi...may be due to The Lesser movie knowledge of South Indian movies goers & South Indian critics...I will rate 2 out of 5 ...(2 for Karthi performance)..
