We were assigned this book for a literature class that I took so I was interested in seeing it play out on screen. What I appreciate is that this evokes an awareness of how powerful perception is and it makes people realize that words do hurt. To me, the series is a reminder of the butterfly effect and how all things are connected and have lasting consequences. My hope is that rather than glorifying suicide, the series opens people's eyes to the influence of their words and their actions. We can be a part of the problem or a part of the solution...the choice is ours.

I binged the series in two days, and I was pleasantly surprised. The story keeps you hooked. Great writing and acting!
