I’m gonna just give this with all honesty. It could’ve been a lot better than what it just was. I think the eerie tale of the very beginning of the film and how they kinda recapped what was gonna happen at the beginning of the film drawer me into it. Gave me a bit of a twisted childhood memory gone horribly wrong that part I liked. But I feel like they didn’t have to just put some animal masks on 2 guys and call that Winnie the Pooh and Piglet. They were really tall and way more human looking than lil Forrest creatures. If anything this was like a Friday the 13th movie with lots of skull crushing. I think if they made the killers look more how Chuckie did like a tiny SGI evil animals with maybe dark eyes they would’ve made it feel more like the real characters. Also I didn’t understand why they only put Winnie the Pooh and Piglet in it. I mean where was Rabbit, Owl, and Tigger I don’t think was mentioned. I feel like it would be more scary to know the whole gang was there rather than just 2 of them. That just makes more sense also I felt like it just wasn’t long enough and I felt like the ending was stupid. Honestly to see all the humans except Christopher Robbin be killed and not show what happened after all the killings like 5-10 years after that like what happened ya know? I just feel like there could’ve been a lot more and it all felt way too rushed. Also I just didn’t feel like that was Winnie or Piglet at all just creepy killers in masks they didn’t even look anything like them in the masks.

It was definitely something very different that I’m use to seeing. It’s not really something I’d watch much tho. Not my cup of tea type of movie because it was so dark, sad, and extremely depressing. If I would have to rank the characters bad to the worst in this movie I’d probably go: The guy who stayed in jail, Harry’s girlfriend having sexual relations just to make a living, Harry because he lost his arm and almost didn’t get help in time, and Harry’s mom getting abused in the medical system. I think the most sad part is how Harry’s mom ended up the way she did. I mean she seemed like sweet character who could’ve had so much potential. I really really really hated the part where she goes back to the doctors and tells them and tries to show them what’s been going on and he’s just all “don’t worry about it here’s another refill” and then walks out of the room. Didn’t even ask questions or looked at her and basically let her spiral out of control. And the electroshock therapy was just the saddest part. Also they really didn’t needs to pinch her nose like that to force her to eat like why didn’t they just try being nice and say here please try and eat something. But most of all the ending was the saddest cuz now it makes me think she’ll just die being miserable and alone and scared in that hospital being treated like that. But overall I feel like the message of the story is that don’t let something control your life or else it will control you. And that’s a very dangerous game to play if you give into it for too long you might just be stuck down the rabbit hole forever. Basically just a waist a life and for just a big addition a problem the characters seem to not get past.
