This was a thoughtful, inventive and daring approach to focus the film on the fans and their life experiences juxtaposed to Depeche Mode as a part of their life. It was unlike any other band documentary and in could see why some who are only interested in their own experience of the band would not like it. But I found it quite amazing and beautiful. I watched in Seattle and was not surprised at the reserve of the crowd - I was the only one who stood up to dance or clap.
