Very disappointed in Mr. Acosta inserting his political and ideological views instead of focusing on the purpose of the book. I fully agree with the author that President Trump's treatment and method of communications with the press is abhorrent and damaging to all. I liked the parts of the book that showed the mechanics and inner workings of how the White House deals with the press. This further validated and reinforced my delusion with our President. Unfortunately Mr. Acosta dissects every comment and action put out by President Trump as though he were a spokesperson for the DNC. Sticking to the facts would have been much more productive.

This book is a very important work that covers the complex business model and complex effects on the public of the big tech companies such as Google, Amazon, Apple and others. Ms. Foroohar illustrates the effects big tech has on government policy, tax compliance, labor, innovation, oligopoly status, data mining, data usage, data selling , crime control and so much more. All these topics come with both pros and cons. There aren't easy solutions and that's why we need to understand the far reaching effects of big tech so that we can have a productive conversation going forward how it is to be used and regulated.
