I've seen a few Jarmusch films, so I kinda of knew what to expect going into The Dead Don't Die. Still, I found myself disappointed by the end.
The comedy, though subtle, was great. The characters were wonderfully quirky. I absolutely loved GZA showing up as a driver for WU-PS.
My problem is that it didn't go anywhere. Characters, after being introduced, were left on the floor. Others were visited over and over, yet never explained. If I'm watching your film, and you're introducing people to me, forcing me to spend time with them...explain to me why they're here. Give me some of that or I'm going to think you forgot what you were doing.
