I actually thought that a mystery was at hand. Was Kit really dead? What did these friends who were dying one after another know? Why the mad pursuit of what happened by Vera? Love of friends sent to Hell. My God. I see this over and over in film and get caught by the trap of “The Bruce Willis Syndrome “ . This movie could not have been more gut wrenching. Simple death at the hands of bizarre and horrifying circumstances. Gone into another dimension, realm, maybe even Hell again, By the end I begged for God’s Grace. War. A despicable trap. This engrossing film took us nowhere but there. Simply put. The inevitable. I was hooked. A great work and lovely acting.
