I always thought Homeland was worth watching even during some of the more uneven storylines. I found the final season particularly good as it juxtaposed well with Carrie’s earlier time in Afghanistan and shows how she evolved (or not) and her relationship with and love for Saul, which has always been the enduring thread throughout. An excellent ending to a great series.
