I wanted to give this a half star. The original was so good that I foolishly thought this series would continue the story, or add something refreshing. They took something beautiful and turned it to utter garbage. As a black person myself, the black washing of the cast was a huge disappointment. The creators focused solely on race & sexuality.  The 4400 would have comprised of individuals from around the world. So why didn't the main cast reflect this? Persons from Germany (Hitler era perhaps), South Korea/Japan etc, Africa, South America/the Caribbean etc. Sadly to say that only two characters that caught my attention were Dr. Andre and Claudette. The writers need to focus on creating characters that are relatable with less focus on sexuality. Make us fall in love with the characters for who they are not their sexual orientation.
