Ignore what people say about the contrast between the books and the films, yes there are many missing parts and yes there are made up characters, but you have got to take this as Peter Jackson’s own version of the hobbit, not a word for word copy of Tolkien If you enjoyed lord of the rings triology then you have to watch these masterpieces, but as I said watch with an open mind
