Cooler's revenge is the best dragon ball movie I ever saw. It's a shame that it isn't cannon to the timeline. Tho some people online say that Cooler is just a copy of his brother Frieza, so if he ever becomes cannon to the timeline, like they did with Broly, I think a story like that could work. Now the original Broly is an abomination, just a walking steroid who can barely talk. The super Broly is so much better, like an oversize'd teddy bear. Now Cooler is my favorite character in Dragon Ball, but I will not bias. The words to describe Cooler is... well I can't think of anything, but if Akira Toriama ever add's Cooler to the cannon, I think they sued do something unexpected, like give Cooler a new role, instead of him being a copy of Frieza, they sued think about making him an anti hero, like the Jason Todd version of Red Hood from DC. A Dragon Ball fan by the YouTube name of MasakoX compared Frieza to the Joker of DC, so having Cooler as a Red Hood type of character would make for a grate counter balance, and as a Dragon Ball fan my self. I'd be happy to lend a hand if I have too.
