The movie was SO much better! Nicole Kidman was much better as the villain, and the little girl who played Lyra was much better as well. The show has good special effects, but it's so slow, and definitely not as good as the movie and books were.

I really like this show! Well written, the casting is good, effects are good, and its interesting. I'm surprised the reviews aren't better. I really hope it gets renewed for another season!
