Disappointingly shallow. A film that had the opportunity to show the value of life took a sideways turn as Clark happily moves on from a life and love of service. This movie is an amen to a culture saturated with hatred to life; a disregard for the actual pain of loss and suffering. This film emphasizes that we can find joy in putting ourselves first, which, as we all know, only leads to more hurt and suffering. The truth is, if Clark remained true to her character (a woman filled with self-sacrificial love) then she would not go travelling around "discovering" herself after this experience. The truth is, this film is an attempt at putting pretty wallpaper on a crumbling wall that is our society devoted to selfish ambitions and a disregard for the sanctity of life. I am shocked at the number of positive reviews.
