Around 2015 I was still working but could could no longer afford cable TV, a PVR and internet to record CTV National News to watch it the next morning before going to work. Since then its' internet streaming and downloading only for all my viewing needs. Prior to 20 years ago CTV had a fair amount of journalistic integrity, vastly more than CBC. That integrity started to wane around the start of this century and is currently accelerating their downwards spiral. The FABRICATED Pierre Poilievre quote from just a few days ago is a prime example of how little journalistic integrity they have left. That's not the only problem that CTV News has. The news team has FAILED to adapt to the rise of the internet. Almost all of the other major news networks in North America have done a better job getting their news programs posted to various locations on the internet, especially youtube. CTV is almost always many many hours behind when it comes to the National News air time and youtube posting time. They also seem to have a serious problem synchronizing the day of the week with the actual date of the program, even on the CTV web site itself. When it comes to CTV local news, it no longer exists in my area on the weekends. Even their banner, "CTV News is Canada's most-watched news organization both locally and nationally, and has a network of national, international, and local news operations" is now pure propaganda and could even be another outright LIE just like they did with the B.S. fabricated Pierre Poilievre quote from a few days ago
