Noroshundor (The Barbershop) is a 2009 Bengali political thriller short set in 1971 during Bangladesh Liberation War. It was co-directed by Tareque Masud and Catherine Masud. It deals with nationalism and identity issue daring the war. In 1971, during Bangladesh Liberation War, Pakistan Army led a local collaborator raid at the home in searching freedom fighters. The young man they seek flees through the narrow alleyways of Old Dhaka and stumbles upon a barbershop. He quick decides to get a shave to disguise himself. Meanwhile, his mother takes his injured father to a nearby pharmacy. The Hindu doctor hesitantly takes them in b ecause of not getting into target. At the barbershop, the young man soon realizes he has put himself in more danger, where all the barbers are Urdu-speaking Biharis. Who also known to be supporting the Pakistan Army.

Gol-e Yakh (Ice Flower) is the debut solo studio album by Iranian singer-songwriter and guitarist Kourosh Yaghmaei. The album was released in 1973 in Iran. "Gol-e Yakh" title and debut single was a huge success over 5 million copies sold in the domestic market. The album was produced by Yaghmaei, and all the lyrics written by Mahdi Akhavan Langeroudi who was Kourosh's friend at the university and one the significant modern Persian poet. Based on international standards, "Gol-e Yakh" the a-side 7" single penetrated various performances in outside the country. It brought a great fame to Yaghmaei and it was adapted for various languages. "Del Dareh Pir Misheh" the b-side, is Iranian garage rock taken to its greatest heights.

Arayesh-E Khorshid (Persian: آرایش خورشید‎; Make the Sun) is the tenth studio album by Iranian singer-songwriter and guitarist Kourosh Yaghmaei. The album includes a collection of Iranian folk songs that was released in 2000 by Ahang Rooz in Iran. It also censored one track before it's released. It features a traditional Persian folk song "Mastom, Mastom" ("Drunk, Drunk") which verse refers to an unrequited or impossible love. Following the Islamic Revolution of 1979, Yaghmaei spent over a month for recording three Sol-e series albums. Initially, this album was recorded as Sol-e 3. Where, Sol-e 1 was reissued in 1979 on CD as Parandeye Mohajer by Los Angeles-based record label Caltex Records, and Sol-e 2 was recorded with Fereydoon Foroughi and released in 1980.

Abu Ibrahimer Mirtu (Abu Ibrahim's Death) is a Bengali novel written by Shahidul Zahir. This is Zahir's fourth novel posthumously published by Mowla Brothers in 2009. Written against the backdrop of the reign of the then dictator Hussein Muhammad Ershad, it is a novella, the story of which is rich in connotations and commentary on human experience. The dedication of the novel reads: "People does die, of course, but the meaning of death is different..." Also includes "A person is inherently dead, or heavier than Taishan, or lighter than a feather" quote by Chinese historian Sima Qian (206 BC – AD 220). The novel won the Prothom Alo Borsho Shera Boi award in 2009.

Dolu Nadir Hawa O Annanya Galpo is a Bengali short story collection written by Shahidul Zahir. This is Zahir's third collection of short stories published by Mowla Brothers on 1 January 2004 in Bangladesh. It compiled seven stories, written between 1999 and 2003. In the background of the stories, there are various contexts and curiosities related to the people from Bhuter Goli (Bhajahari Saha Street) at Puran Dhaka and villagers, and the love, dreams and dream-breaking of the people. The title of the book taken from the river Dolu, which flows through Lohagara through the eastern hilly region of Bandarban and Satkania in Chittagong district of Bangladesh. Zaheer lived in Satkania for some time before his secondary examination and studied at Satkania Adarsh High School. The book won Kagaz Sahitya Puraskar in 2004.
