I've read this book a few times. What a remarkable story of how a kindly, warm affectionate and playful Spaniel dog Max came into it's owner's life at a time when life's challenges made him feel so sad, lonely, and desperately lost. I find it so compelling how Max the miracle dog touched so many peoples lives, both young and old. He gave them back the spark and hope that life is truly special with a canine frieind to comfort you when no human can.
