I thought this movie was really good! Definitely one of my favourites of all time! The cast played the characters so well and the chemistry between the thieves spoke of a deep connection stemmed from years of thieving together. The movie really showed each characters skill set (which is hard since there are 5 main characters not including Ghost) showing that individually, they are great and could do solo but together they are a masterpiece. I don’t see why so many people would find this movie dull or boring, maybe with the detective parts but there’s not even many of those scenes so I really don’t get it, the rest of the movie in my opinion was action packed but made way for actual character characteristics and it shows us the connections between the thieves without it being what it’s all about. I think the action is so good, I would have even liked another movie - spoiler alert - if they didn’t kill most of the mains off - showing more bank robberies. Overall this movie filled all the risks that I would want in an action film; •Getting to know the character without it being spelled out for us •Action •A ‘downfall’ •A hopeful ending •Plenty off badass moments •Little to no romance •A tilted moral compass •Violence •Crime •Some insight in their family or personal life. This movie has it all. 100% recommend. You can currently find it on Netflix.
