Insanely good! Slam Dunk was the manga of a generation. This animation directed by Inoue himself didn’t just feed on nostalgia but he breathed new life into it by introducing Ryota Miyagi’s point of view and his back-up story! It’s such a bold move but with excellent result! The background music and ending song added powerful intensity to the game! I will have to watch it twice to savor all the details in the art and storytelling of this masterpiece!
