Great animation, looked amazing but poor storyline, if you focused less on a narrative and more on the actual character this could’ve been epic. I lost focus on the movie before halfway through because it went from him sacrificing the life he had to bring about how he suddenly couldn’t let go? He barely acted like the stoic version of himself. You made him ridiculous and a poor teammate most of the movie. Everyone is developing a pattern of making certain characters opposite of how they are meant to act. While choosing to make their narrative fitting characters highly proficient even when they shouldn’t be based off their own stories. Also there already exist a biz light year series that could have been used for character reference instead you again chose to make up something you weren’t positive would work. Like Star Wars with disney but hey socially aware narratives sell right?
