It's ok but I wouldn't really call it a horror film. Horror you gotta have it were you bring the person into really getting into watching it but this movie I ended up losing interest after awhile. It's nothing like the nun movies. At least the nun movies are actually based on actual events that actually happened to Lorraine Warren. This movie don't have truth to it. Just Nuns and a preacher impregnating an innocent girl to bring in their belief in God. The actress Sydney Sweeney is pretty good at her job but I rather see her go into something more better. Horror you gotta draw in the attention of people and this in reality does not. I would suggest if a Hollywood producer wants to do a horror movie than do one that has truths in it. A lot of the best horror icon producers do the truth but bring it into more of a reality for someone that hasn't experienced stuff like that. Hollywood should do better and stop doing the same old boring stuff. Horror movies really need to draw people attention to the point where they can get scared. This ain't scary.

Could be a lot better. I watch a lot of vampire movies and Dracula movies in my life and this one doesn't scream Dracula for me. I normally like Nicolas Cage movies but this one really didn't do him any good. If you want to watch Nicolas Cage go watch National Treasure or Ghost Rider he is excellent in those movies but this Renfield movie did not do him justice. To me it seemed poorly done with a actor that could have done more to make people and me blow my mind. I do not recommend this movie. I know it was listed as a comedy but honestly it not funny just blah to me. Seems like the directors ran out of good ideas for movies.
