Never Aging

OK look.... I wanted to like this movie after liking and growing up with the original twister. I like it 3 out of 5 but there is a reason why..... First if you honestly watched and liked the original twister, you will see several resemblances in Twisters. I felt it is practically the same movie until three quarters of the way in. Obviously it has to start with a life changing event, one of the main characters goes to work for the weather department, The one from the whether department agrees to come along but for only a limited time. In this case I think it was either a week or 10 days. Now I don't remember. Several tornado scenes resembled the original like the holding to the pipes and floating or the hugging of the wall under the bridge. Then The rodeo scene is just like the drive through movie scene. There were several more I spotted right away. There is such a thing as honoring the original by putting some scenes in and then just completely reposting the movie with exceptions of starting on the opposite storm team. I knew right away who the bad person was at the beginning of the movie. I suspected it in the history scene with the comment of the money when he stays back in the vehicle and confirmed it when it showed present day and he came with that group. I predicted most of the movie in the first intro of the movie. In that first intro of the movie I played back in my head from The original twister movie "He's in it for the money, not the science!" as Bill Said that famous line. So I assumed he was reporting to someone and well. that was explained later. I got more interested in it when they were actually working on the project at hand and also when they put saving people first. There is so much more I can say about this movie but lets just say this.....I would have scored this at least 4 stars if I have not seen twister 1 before. It was just too predictable to me especially after knowing so much of the first movie. I do like the movie but I don't love it. I really wanted to love it.
