Absolutely loved this sleeper, indie film with Lily Gladstone from “Killer of the Flower Moon”. A young woman takes a driving trip in search of her roots prompted by the loss of her grandmother. Quite the emotionally charged journey and the cinematography is breathtaking. Uniquely filmed with parts feeling like a documentary, highly recommend this film to get your New Year started on a great note.

Calamy is amazing at any role she takes on and this one is no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, all the twists and turns up until the end certainly keep you entertained. Certainly worth a look !

I’m a big fan of Franz Rogowski, loved him in “Transit” and he certainly shined in this film. Tomas was an emotional train wreck waiting to happen and unfortunately he did. The movie starts with him riding his bicycle alone thru the streets of Paris and ends the same way. The sex scene between Tomas and Martin which is pivotal in the film and is quite explicit & powerful, even as a straight woman it certainly turned me on.

Had its moments but just tried too hard to be funny to the point that it became obnoxious.

This movie is beautifully filmed and it’s story is compelling and told in a very different & effective manner. The close up angles, the aerial views of the characters, all really deliver a powerhouse of a film.
