Just watched this tonight for the umpteenth time. A compelling masterpiece of a film. You won't be able to take your eyes off it.

Good film....shows the he'll that is war, the bravery of those in the field, a and the air, the hard decisions that have to be made, the terrible waste of life but its all done a fairly believable way without too.much close up gore. The film effects, suspense and atmospheres created were excellent and kept me watching. I was holding my breath on quite a few of the scenes. I did wonder why noone wore helmets and often were standing up only to get shot which I thought was a bit odd. Great acting and def worth watching. The guys that were actually involved....heroes.

I was going to.go.to.bed but this film came on and ended up watching till the end. Compelling.

Just watched the two series in two sessions. Intense, unexpectedly rivetting and very moving in many parts. Unusually for me, this drama moved me to tears in parts. Fantastic acting by everyone. I lars as johannes set a high standard (I know someone like johannes so he was very believable) as did the screenplay.... Brilliant and interesting dialogue addressing many and diverse issues and emotions. The scenes in Jerusalem were the icing on the cake as this is possibly the most haunting and important place I have visited and I could well believe in aspeciare. experience happening here. I had no expectations about this series as I hit upon it by accident. Bravo to everyone involved in making this series... Best ever.
