I think this K-drama is an absolute must-watch. It's captivating, and the actors excelled my expectations, especially the female lead. This K-drama gave her the opportunity to prove to the public that she is an amazing actor.
Spoiler!
About the show itself, I was a tiny disappointed about Pildo's death. I do not mind him dying, but the execution was quite..messy? Rushed? It seems like they were trying to squeeze it that plot point and to be completely honest, I didn't think it was that necessary. The characters just got to know each other, getting comfortable with each other, and then he died 10 minutes later. It really sucks because I know how amazing the actors are, and I know that if his death was better executed or even removed, the show would have been amazing. Nevertheless (see that reference uhuh uhuh), I believe that his death helped Jiwoo's character development, and it was satisfying to see her revenge.
I thought the plot twist was actually really great, and that scene with her driving and her father's narration in the background, combined with the music, hands down the best scene throughout the whole movie. Were there plot holes? Yes. I think we needed more context+screentime for Do Gang-Jae. Apparently, he knew about Jiwoo's father murderer being Choi Mu-jin..? Does that mean everyone knew, except her..? Would Choi Mu-jin really tell everyone about the betrayal after their friendship? I have so many questions.
Overall, the show was enjoyable, and I binge-watched it without feeling bored. It's a great show, I would recommend it to everyone! It discusses pretty serious issues, something that I don't see often in K-dramas, so I am super impressed.
Final rating: 9/10!!
