THIS IS THE COMPILATION that piqued my curiosity (and my subsequent hobby) into DJ mixing. The CD (of 2xLP) is steller from start to finish. It's mainly a trance mix from start to finish with a lot of ethereal feel to the tracks. I was a fool to sell the CD but now I have stumbled across the album on Discogs and also learned that a 2xLP version (presumably unmixed) exists, which I may obtain at a later time. The album / mix closes with a chillout / ambient track by Sven Vath which I visualize an Alien landscape. So here is what I suggest you obtain if you want a trip down memory lane. 1. Obtain this compilation (the mixed version on CD. ) 2. Get some UV / blacklights. 3. One of those "Derby" special effects lights. Amazon has tons of them for the cheap. 4. Maybe a couple of lasers too. Get the heads that have RGB (Red, Green Blue). 5. A fog machine. 6. A high powered sound playback system. Needs to have plenty of bass response. 7. Glow sticks.Wave those around with the UV / black lights on. 8. LIFX bulbs (or any other "smart" light bulb where you can manipulate the colour). 9. Find a large-ish room and set all of this up. 10. Invite some peeps over. Start playback of this compilation on the CD or media player. 11. Have FUN!!
