Watching the episode on September 1, 2024, Nancy Cordes had the D governor of Massachusetts, on air, which unfortunately cements the show sub-title - Deface the Nation. Rather than have an R governor for an equal time and balanced perspective, the softball Q&A was simply an advertisement for the D campaign.
CBS is simply playing to the D party, as opposed to providing a balanced perspective on the issue(s).
