Yawn. I almost never give up on a book and I stopped this one 44 pages in. It's just a series of anecdotes with no real flow. For someone who is so renowned in his field there is nothing compelling in the first few chapters of this book. Maybe I was expecting more of the actual science explained in lay terms which he had a reputation for. Perhaps there is some of that later on but I'm so bored with what I've read thus far that I'll likely never find out. After reading Sagan and Tyson this was a big disappointment.
