Expressive Synapse

First I want to address the good of the show. The story boarding and animation for the show is great. It's pretty much a piece of art. That said, as an traditional anime it's pretty bad. The character's never develop the pacing is like a fever dream and the later half of the show goes balls to the walls insane. This anime tires very hard to be profound, unfortunately I personally am not a big fan of that sort of stuff so after having watched it the ending left me dissatisfied. If you like really pretentious pieces of art then this is definitely for you but if you're like me and that isn't really your jam, i'd steer away from this one.
