30 mins in I wanted to turn it off and watch the original Little Mermaid. The main characters were awful!!! Yes, Halle can sing but she should have taken more acting classes before getting a lead role. Sebastian and.Scuttle were the worst. The actor playing Sebastian couldn't keep his accent in check. I didn't know.if he was Jamaican or English. Scuttle was so adoring in the original and very annoying in this one. Some of the songs were just awful and boring.
A hour into the movie I had to end it and watch the original. 5 stars for the original.
