What an exciting and exhilarating thriller! The action, the fights, the music, the GUNS!!! FaFa at his best, Kamal Hassan killed it. Suriya's role is *chef's kiss*. I literally CANNOT wait to watch what comes next in this universe.

Honestly, it was an extremely real, intense and enjoyable experience. I don't understand how people can leave bad reviews about a movie without actually watching it. It is a movie for god's sake! Alia stuns in every scene she is in and another actress who really shines is Seema Pahwa. Vijay Raaz is obviously on point in his portrayal of 'Raziabai'. The dialogue writing of this movie is one of it's biggest strengths combined with the classic Bhansali set design which transports us into Gangubai's world. Please don't believe the hateful reviews left by people who did not even watch the movie. They are doing so out of pure spite. This is a special movie and it should be given a fair chance. Before some crusader tries to pin me as a person from the studio, I'm just a normal college-going student. I wasn't even an Alia Bhatt fan but now I'll be eagerly waiting for her next work. Also, the real Gangubai was a fan of cinema. So she would've probably loved the film. Watch it. They hit it out of the park with this one.
