okami is and forever will be my FAVORITE video game. i’ve been in love with this game since i was a little girl who first played it on the wii. it became such a cherished part of my childhood, and has carried heavily on through my adulthood. the celestial brush mechanic, the music, game maps, and story is just absolutely flawless. based heavily on japanese mythology and legends, this game captures the beauty of its culture. still makes me happy cry to this day.
