The level of build customization in DDO is it's biggest draw. It more than makes up for it's dated graphics with this alone. But that isn't it's only strength, each dungeon / quest chain feels like a self contained adventure. Narrated by some very talented Dungeon Masters, they come to life like no MMO I've ever played does. The combat is fast paced and visceral. Overall, it's a very niche' game with a incredible and dedicated dev team that listen to their players. If you're a fan of Dungeons and Dragons 3.5, this game is worth taking a look, as that's the version of D&D it has it's roots in.
