AMS Bee

This movie was mediocre at best. I was expecting it to really pull at my emotions the way movies like this normally do. But I was catching myself wanting to fall asleep or to fast forward to the ending already. The story line was very minimal, general, and matter of factly. Yet, somehow it dragged on. Another thing. These are such powerful roles. I expected a lot more from the actors. And besides, why would you name your kid echo?? Isn’t it enough that we get that she lives in her sisters shadow by the way people treat her???? For instance, when the Dr blatantly blurts out “zoë had lots of friends.” Which is rude to say. They clearly show who the favorite sister is. So everything else was just unnecessary. Not to mention, where are these kids parents??? It’s like these kids are adults and their parents are just background noise in their lives. You’d notice such change in a person. Seriously. If my sister showed me a picture of a person and told me to stay away from them, I’d ask many questions as to why. Not just say “fine.” It could have been better!! It should have.
