There are many films with music as main theme, yet this one is something new in its own way, no nonsense and a very simple and straight movie. Still everyone will love watching this movie wherein a young man who is the son of a mridangam maker wants to become a mridangam artist. How he struggles to learn and goes into become the best is the theme of the movie. Particularly, the last fifteen minutes is the highlight of the movie , a clean and fresh movie with good tunes from AR Rehman.

Extraordinary film of a struggling mother , a widow who sells off everything to ensure that her daughter goes abroad knowing fully of her intentions and makes new targets to ensure that her daughter could live in a good house when she returns. Never seen such a wonderful movie!!

A totally different film altogether. Though you get confused with the introduction of so many characters, you will be awestruck to find that all the characters culminate into a single character. Hats off to the Director. Somebody said it is a copy of a Hollywood film. No problem.Not everyone gets a chance to see or understand Hollywood films. I give 10/10 rating to this film and appreciate senior actors for having agreed even for miniscule roles in the movie

Waste of time if anybody wants to see this movie. It is basically a senseless movie and we do not know why things are happening the way they are happening. Why people are killed- no answer even at the end also.probably the story writer also doesn't know.kudos for his mindlessness
