One of those blue collar working class 70's era sports dramas that leaves a lasting impression. I've only seen it 5 times !

I thought this movie was blantantly honest and creative with real issues affecting real life and taboo subject matter. I give it a 10. Kevin Spacey was great in my books.

This movie is in my top 5 of all time. The big Al Pacino speech gets a bit carried away but the acting and certain moments are indeed memorable.

Where black-and-whites come together to share and solve their differences.Good learning curve to say the least and bitter rivalries to boot. It shows how many Americans make this game their religion.

So what if its low budget.Director Steve Soderberg did some great stuff with this one. I saw an acting portrayal of James Spader i wasn't at all expecting. The way the movie story reached a climax is what did it for me with real life drama !
