Genuinely the worst racing game I've ever played. I abhor the open world racing game genre to begin with, but I decently enjoy racing games. My friend wanted me to play it with him so I got it for $4. This is the single most refund-able game I've ever purchased even at that low a price. Anything good about the mechanics is just a rehash of stuff Hot Pursuit (or whatever installment invented that set of now-cookie cutter mechanics) did better, and each of the modes is so hideously unstructured it's laughable. After all, my favorite bit of playing the racing game is the part where I'm forced to go at half speed and all speed-increasing mechanics are turned off so I get to play Straight Line Simulator. Or when I have to stare at the map and try to untangle the stupid road layout to figure out a path to the finish line instead of playing the racing game. In fact, this isn't a racing game, it's a party game with cars. This open world racer trend needed to drink paint and die before it ever saw the light of day. Not a fan.
