Well, If you’ve seen an action movie before, you can predict nearly every punchline, action set piece, twist, and cliche. Admittedly I laughed a few times, but not usually from the writing itself. The Ryan Reynolds character’s lines seem like a bad fan fiction of what an amateur writer thought Deadpool would say without swearing too much. Jokes are delivered left and right and they all fall flat for me. Ryan makes his funny references, like two fourth wall breaks, and his token f-bomb. Sadly not even these actors can make a script like this work. The action was really boring and lifeless as well. I payed less attention during those more than anything. There’s not really much else to say about it, it’s just boring. The twist at the end caught me though, but it was slightly forced. Boring movie, but your grandma will like it.
