Few mantras stated in the book may not fit to current times but I would say it's definitely a good pick for people who are looking out to kick start their search in learning about finance. The book talks about the customs, traditions that were being followed in an Ancient city called Babylon and how it prospered with the resources at its disposal and grew to be one of richest and unbreakable town at that time. The book mainly talks about a person named Arkad who went from being a humble clay scriber to The Richest person in Babylon with the financial mantras adapted by him from the people who were well established in handing money and putting them to profitable investments. The main essence of the book is "Handling money wisely can take us to places, a person who is skilled in it enjoys the benifit of them after employing to a practical stream of income. A person with impractical plans in growing wealth would end up blowing it away in no time".
