ESPN’s coverage of the PGA Championship is sub-par. But thank goodness we don’t have to watch the “talk show” all the time as they have offered coverage on two of their stations. The camera coverage is poor- they don’t seem to be able to follow shots, they show greens with no golf balls (are they hoping one will show up?) and they have gaps in coverage where they don’t switch from one group to another fluidly. The Golf Channel’s coverage is much more informative and enjoyable. ESPN really needs to step up their game for the viewer.
