A masterpiece. Oppenheimer is a towering achievement that fiercely explores the horrors of man-made destruction, the nuances of being proud of your work yet haunted by the guilt that comes with the possibility of destroy humanity. Every actor perfectly embodied their roles. And no doubt that the score of the film is also great protagonist. I didn’t love that Christopher Nolan, sanitized, Oppenheimer and the governments role and how they destroyed Latino and indigenous lives when they took over an area that was inhabited by these communities but hopefully they could be a topic explored in another film.
