this book does have all the things that have been widely criticized in other comments. But coming from a 14 year old girl, this book was amazing. and i think i can speak for a majority of those kids wanting this book when i say it makes the world seem more understanding. people deal with things differently and this book is one way of that. it shares those thoughts and cries for help that would otherwise go unheard of. it humanizes the thoughts you have and puts them into words. for me, it showed me how scary those words truly are. this isn’t a book ENCOURAGING suicide, it’s a book spreading awareness about it.
