It's literally WILD that this is the same Martin Freeman. He is just crazy good in this role and is extremely different from everything else I've seen him in. The writing and stories are superb as well--I don't want each episode to end!

The bizarre changes to the original story are a muddled mess and completely nonsensical. I'm open to changes that make sense and this is not it. What a shame. The book is perfection.

WOW! So good. Definitely recommend as this couple lacks total self awareness...it borders on being hilarious while quite tragic to the relatives and the British royal institution of the Monarchy. Queen Elizabeth deserved so much better, especially in the last years of life. "The Crown" could spend an entire series of these two alone and still have juicy material left over for a movie.
