PlayWell Child Life Services As a professional providing palliative AND hospice care, I have great concern over the portrayal of these services as the same on the episode "In the graveyard". Palliative care is long term management of a medical diagnosis, from medication to an array of therapies, often provided at home. Hospice is determined when the life expectancy is 6 months or less. The focus of care for hospice is pain management, which may be administered at home or a care facility. Your program does not make the distinction and further supports peoples misconceptions. This is harmful as people will refuse palliative care stating "Oh no, we are not there!" or "we are not ready for that" because they think the medical staff is referring to hospice. I wish you could do a follow up show making the distinction. PlayWell
