Aristides Fifis

I have seen this movie many times and each time I realise more and more that the movie is a real quality and great movie. When I first watched it I didn't like it and felt embarrassed because I watched it with a couple of small minded people who didn't like the homosexual references mainly. What I've noticed is that the script is really good, the music is first grade worthy of the highest award, the acting and various scenes are very good - for example the dialogues between Alexander and Olympias are more interesting than at first glance, the battle scenes are spectacular, the discussion between Phillip and Alexander in the cave about the myths, the entry into Babylon and the the discussions between the generals, the scenes depicting festivities,the exile of Alexander by Phillip and the death of Cleitus, the taming of Bucephalus, the scene at the school of Aristotle and more.. I have often thought about this movie at various moments in my life and found comfort and inspiration.
