Unpopular opinion. Having just finished the game the only feeling I had was disappointment. Your character takes a backseat to side characters who take all the spotlight and credit for saving the universe. Like Ava, an annoying character with almost zero growth or redeeming qualities. Just overall poorly written. The game robs you of your satisfaction of winning. I am not new to the series and have finished all other titles. This game would rank towards the bottom as one of the worst entries, just above Tales of the Borderlands. I felt greater pride and achievement completing the Pre-Sequel than Borderlands 3. For the playable characters I only have experience with Fl4k and Amara. Fl4k’s is fun to play with great abilities but the pet sometimes seems more like a burden at times. Especially on a side quest when you have to choose to kill or not to and your per will kill them automatically. Amara is a one tone character and her dialogue gets annoying at times. As for her abilities they only become really useful later in game.
